From Nothing

is a Manual that guides a user that has little to nothing to be able to build a home and the means to survive. After securing water, food and creating shelter the manual provides information to improve building or harvesting efficiency. “From dirt to automated farm with drones.”

The user chooses a plot where they are going to build their live around with.
The manual provides different shelter types for different biomes and locations.

When a shelter is build to be able to stay there for longer periods of time, water is collected and then a small farm is build. The manuals provides a quick start via tutorials and checklists to techniques like urban farming, agriculture, permaculture, vertical farming, hydro/aquaponic and more.

Because there are different types of soil and locations around the globe. Depending on what the user has on their plot for example: sand, clay, stones, trees, grass, bushes. If it is located at a river, lake, hill, valley, mountain, desert, etc. the plan changes dynamically. In dryland the first step would be to get some shaded shelter and store water. The first step on a lush green valley near a river would be simple shelter and then to plant crop.

There are many different methods to build a sustainable home:
-recycling plastic into liners or melt sand into ceramics to make ponds .

-adding trees for shade in drylands to keep water from evaporating

-creating biodigesters to speed up fertilizer production while also collecting the methane for cooking or heating.

-Yield and sustainability of crops is increased by going vertical, incorporating permacultures, adding aqua/hydroponics.

The manual will help find the right methods and designs for the users location.

Once the food and water is secured the user can sell food or crafts services etc. to be able to buy materials needed OR just gather/mine them himself and smelt and produce what is needed to build a larger house, energy generators, drones etc.

The final result would be a sustainable home that provides shelter, produces food and energy.
Which is either manually harvested or if the user has the skills or funds is automated.
